Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons and communications systems. Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. Applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management. Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons and communications systems, associated support systems, or management information systems.
Support CDL (Common Data Link) and FMV (Full Motion Video) (1 WY split 50/50)
Support CDL upgrades and integration for both air and ship
Support implementation of updated Cyber requirements/mandates
FMV ECP engineering oversight and integration support for MH-60S
- 7-10 years of relevant experience
- Electrical/Computer Engineer OR Systems Engineer with recent background in software development, avionics development, integration and test
- Proactive and knowledgeable individual who takes initiative to coordinate the resolution of complex integration problems
- Prior experience with data link technology development, modification and integration
- Former Operator/Maintainer with shipboard/CDL/L16/FMV experience
