Job Summary: The Payroll Benefits Coordinator is responsible for compilation and recording of employee time and payroll benefits data, processing of the bi-weekly payroll to include monthly commissions for the company, in an efficient, accurate and confidential manner. This role includes a mix of both routine day-to-day tasks as well as opportunities to manage larger projects. ? Verifying and adjusting hours worked, pay adjustments based upon task performed, and posting information onto designated records ? Computing wages and deductions, and entering data into systems ? Processing and issuing (where applicable) employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions ? Assisting with responsibilities to the HR Manager ? Process bi-weekly payroll accurately using Automated Data Processing (ADP) to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency. ? Manage Time Attendance with support staff and managers while maintaining precise payroll records. ? Process new hires, employee changes, terminations and benefit administration on payroll software. ? Ensures compliance and adheres to company?s polices relating to processing of wages and paid time off. ? Provide service to all employees regarding concerns with payroll and Benefits, research and trouble shoot any/all inquiries. ? Coordinate resolution with management to address any inquiries/requests on an on-going basis. ? Maintain business controls and audit trails for all payroll transactions, deferrals, garnishments, etc. ? Maintain control of company payroll, employee files, and benefit files, with strict confidentiality ? Assist with distribution of health and welfare benefits information upon Open enrollment as well as when employees become eligible benefits ? Assist to meet with all new employees to orient and complete new employee benefit enrollments. ? Assist to correct, reconcile, and complete monthly benefit invoices; responsible for resolving discrepancies. ? Assist with and maintain the accuracy of vacation and sick accruals ? Process retirement plan contributions and flex spending account contributions

Job Requirements

ADP - Financial Services, Payroll, Commission Statements, Compensation Benefits, Compliance, 401k - RRSP Administration At least 3 years payroll experience, preferably with ADP to include commissions calculation and reporting. At least 2 years on benefits (medical, dental, vision, FSA and 401K). ? Ability to manage multiple priorities and time sensitive deadlines efficiently. ? Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point) and expert knowledge of grammar, punctuation and editing. ? Strong working knowledge of payroll practices and labor compliance guidelines. ? Excellent interpersonal skills and establish effective relationships at all levels of the organization. ? Strong communication, organization of tasks and customer service skills are a must. ? Meticulous attention to detail, self-motivated, maintains confidential.
