UP TO $3,000 SIGN-ON BONUS
In this entry level position on our Revenue Audit team, you'll verify the accuracy and compliance of our daily revenue and cash related transactions that are used to make business decisions. Training will be provided for this high attention to detail position.
Below are some of the responsibilities as a Potawatomi Hotel & Casino Accounting Clerk:
* Audit all revenue and cash transactions, which includes Verifying, reconciling and adjusting/correcting daily transactions from revenue/operational areas such as the cage, slots, table games, hotel, food & beverage, and valet parking.
* Ensure all required transaction supporting documentation is accounted for and signed.
* Audit daily cash-out tickets, review all receipts, and generate information to assist in preparation of journal entries.
* Balance/reconcile all cage transactions.
* Determine, analyze, and investigate variances within the daily transactions and report any issues to department management.
* Track all team member voids in the revenue audit system for the accounting period.
* Record meter readings from slot machines on the gaming floor.
* Generate, organize, and distribute the daily accounting reports.

What you need:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Beginner Microsoft Excel skills
* Ability to maintain confidential information
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
* An Associate's degree
* 2 years of related experience
