New Home Sales Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic, and skilled home sales professional to join our team in Hudson, NY. The New Home Sales Specialist (NHSS) is charged with being a liaison for our current and prospective consumers looking to explore new home options with Alvarez Homes. As a sales specialist, and key member of the team, you will manage all aspects of your book of business and customer engagement throughout the entire new home purchase process. Success in this role is met by leveraging your customer service skills, inside/outside sales skills, collaboration and teamwork skills, and business acumen for creating a successful customer experience from start to finish throughout the home buying experience.

Primary Responsibilities & Core Skills:
•CRM use to manage daily customer/deal engagement(s)
•Responsible for sales/engineering interactions for print/order alignment
•Follow up on self-generated & organically generated sales leads
•Manage all aspects of Alvarez customer relationship(s)/engagement(s)
•Ability to read blueprints, create estimates and sales presentations
•Moderate computer skills
•Strong customer service focus
•Strong intrapersonal and interpersonal skills
•Knowledge of the construction or building products industry(s)
•Excellent verbal, non-verbal, written, and visual communication skills
•Be able to use "WIP" to process accurate orders & spec-outs.
•Be able to use "Quick Quote Order Program" to process accurate orders & spec-outs.
•Organize storage areas for literature, send out literature to builders, keep track of literature inventory.
•Responsible for filling out a "Change Order Request Form" and process.
•Need to be able to fill out a complete "Service Request Form", put copy of order and signed confirm print attached to the order, and process.
•Take current customer calls & direct them through suitable solutions.
•Take prospect calls (potential customers), get information (minimum...name, company name, address, and phone number) & develop action plan for next steps.
•Be able to take a potential customer through the plan and models (feature/benefit the model & design center correctly).
•Responsible for adding new customer information on customer lists, keep it updated and accurate.
•Responsible for attending order review meetings as applicable, correct serialized order, make the correct number of order copies, and process.
•Responsible for putting out notification mailers to customer network and mailing as directed.
•Creation of custom price requests (model mods) as required to fulfill pricing requests
•Audit their own, and sometimes others, work to ensure accurate pricing and engineered drawings alignment for customer needs

Experience:
•High school diploma or GED required
•Prior experience with Microsoft Office software's and typing is a must
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must
•Customer Service skills to listen to concerns and be able to address needs
•Valid driver's license
•Self-directed individual with strong organizational abilities; including planning, delegating, and business procedures
•Exhibition of sound judgment, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
•3 years retail sales experience
•3 years negotiation
•2 years sales presentations
•2 years reading and creating sales based reports
•2 years reading blueprints and creating estimates
•Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, HubSPot a plus
•Familiarity with modular/offsite construction a plus

Schedule:
•Monday-Tuesday
•Thursday-Saturday
