We are currently looking for RNs / Registered Nurses to join our staffing team and work in and around the Spokane area, particularly in Cheney, in skilled facility settings and assisted living facility settings. Currently looking to fill day shifts on the weekends - including short notice shifts and pre-scheduled shifts.

The RN / Registered Nurse is responsible for the overall care for clients/patients of all ages in inpatient facilities such as hospitals, skilled nursing, extended care, assisted living, and other levels of care.. The RN / Registered Nurse performs care and client/patient-related tasks as directed by the nursing plan of care and/or supervisor as permitted by policies and procedures of the facility and allowed under state laws and regulations. 

Essential Functions include:

  • Administer medications according to established medication administration principles, physician orders, and facility policy and procedures

  • Provide direct care to residents/patients with a wide variety of diagnoses and conditions

  • Review, interpret, transcribe, and carry out physician orders

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care provided to all assigned residents/patients

  • Recognize and report changing resident/patient conditions

  • Recognize emergency situations and follow proper protocol

Job Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing

  • Current state license in good standing in the state in which employed/working

  • One (1) year nursing experience is preferred and may vary by contract/location

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) training in adults, children, and infants

  • Pass criminal and abuse background checks, when required by the State(s) in which employed.

  • Pass drug screening to the Federal level
