GardaWorld, a leader in cash services, is hiring for a Coin Manager to oversee the coin services for our Baltimore, MD branch.

  • Overall responsibility for the Operational Execution and On-Boarding Activities for Coin Processing and Coin Wrapping Services. 
  • Identify Geographic Markets that currently have access to Coin Services and ascertain whether these services can be effectively built within GardaWorld facilities.  This includes a comprehensive Financial Analysis to determine overall profitability, revenue potential and expense impact associated with each site and service.
  • Recommend, based on Financial Analysis and Market Expertise whether implementation of new Coin Services is appropriate, and then advise as to the prioritization of each implementation based on overall company goals.
  • Determine Physical Plant Facilities requirements in order to fully support the Coin Services Product in each site including Sorting and Wrapping space necessary to support customer expectations and standards.
  • Review with Regional Operations, the opportunity to effectively utilize Regional Transportation Capabilities, including GardaWorld and Non-GardaWorld delivery services.  Based on these collaborative reviews, recommend the most effective transportation and network services to support the Coin Product in the identified sites.
  • Incumbent will be the Key Contact Point with Third Party Vendors or other vendors directly supporting the Coin Product.  This includes all vendors who provide coin wrapping services and ensuring that the vendors perform according to documented standards and objectives.
  • Reviews and ascertains whether each Vendor Invoice is accurate and represents the actual billing for services provided to our GardaWorld Customers.  This must include the coordination of Vendor Billing with internal GardaWorld Client Billing.  In effect, our Vendor Bills should always be in synchronization with our billing to customers both from a volume perspective and a timing perspective.
  • Ensures that the Coin Inventory and Management Processes across the various sites is fully documented, implemented and that it meets audit and risk control requirements.  This includes the necessary financial balancing controls, recovery of customer error impacts, and the management of mutilated or foreign coin impacts.
  • Establish and implement standard operating units, by site, for Coin Verification, Coin Wrapping, and Coin Delivery to other vendors or clients.  The unit construct will be based on the market and financial analysis for each site.
  • Responsible for multi-site implementation of Coin Processing and Coin Wrapping Services across the U.S. Individual has overall management responsibility associated with the Coin Product, will direct the overall New32 coin conversion and setup and implementation activities associated with Coin Service Delivery.

WORK SCHEDULE

Working Days and Hours based on location, staffing levels and work activities. Overtime, weekend and holiday work may be required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION:

  • College Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent Written, Verbal, Mathematic and Comprehension Skills
  • Experience working in a fast paced, repetitive process and secure production environment
  • Excellent MS Office Skills
  • 5 + Multiple Years in creation and implementation of new market development plans, identification of relevant clients and vendors, and the ongoing management of multiple service areas dealing with large values of financial instruments. Additionally this individual should have experience in the creation and implementation of a Factory Assembly Line Process across multiple geographic sites with varying equipment types, geographic areas and varying customers and vendors.
