SUMMARY OfficeTeam is seeking candidates to fill a TRANSPORTATION CLERK with a recognized logistics company we are currently working with in Scranton, PA area. Get your career moving in the right direction with this TRANSPORTATION CLERK position as you will be assisting with back-office responsibilities and other clerical duties to manage transportation activities. This TRANSPORTATION CLERK will be responsible for preparing the bills of lading and verify that all other documentations and signatures are verified. In this TRANSPORTATION CLERK, you may also be responsible for responding to customer inquiries and refer clients to the appropriate channels. Become an integral part of the team with this TRANSPORTATION CLERK with your capability of having thorough attention to detail and ability to have a great attitude. This TRANSPORTATION CLERK position is a second shift position and would be 5:00pm to 11:30pm Monday through Friday. DUTIES Perform clerical duties to manage transportation activities Process, prepare and verify all inbound and outbound shipment documents Supervise loading and unloading operations at a transportation or shipment yard Prepare bills of lading and other related transportation documents Verify, inspect, identify and tag goods with the help of shipment documents Inspect and check the condition of all goods, items and products Transport inbound shipment of goods to the warehouse Supervise dispatching of goods to customers at their designated addresses Assist and support accounts receivable staff in collecting over dues Initiate and implement safety and security processes for shipment of goods FOR IMMEDIATE CONSIDERATION, PLEASE CALL 610-882-1700 OR EMAIL RESUMES TO Lehigh.Valley@OfficeTeam.com

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS Prior experience in Back Office Administrative and/or other clerical-related work Prior experience in the working Logistics Industry a plus! Capability of have strong attention to detail Ability to have a good working attitude and willingness to work Proficient computers skills, including Microsoft Office Suite Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills
