Job Description

Position Summary: FIMCO is looking for a National Sales Manager to sell Lawn and Garden and Agricultural Sprayers into the Farm and Ranch Retail Channel. The primary focus of this position is to support and profitably grow our current business as well develop and drive results in future product categories. This position reports to the VP, FIMCO Lawn and Garden Division.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for meeting sales and profit goals within assigned territory
  • Retain current and generate potential new customers and markets
  • Develop customer specific programs and negotiate term with customers
  • Assist team in developing new products and markets
  • Other duties assigned

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing
  • 5 years minimum experience in Sales Management
  • Experience with farm and ranch retailers, hard line retailers, and with or selling to internet retailers preferred

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Computer skills - Email - Word - Outlook - Power Point
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to operate in a fast moving and changing environment

Travel Requirements:

  • Extensive travel within assigned territory - 75%

- Both auto and air

- Overnight travel
