The FP&A Manager is responsible for the development and continuous improvement of standardized tools, and processes used to conduct proactive and insightful analysis of financial and operational performance of the business. Our goal is to provide Executive Management greater visibility and organizational focus, to support the achievement of BrassCraft's long-term business objectives. Partnering with Corporate and Operational Accounting, Sales, Marketing, and Operations, this function serves as the analytical engine of the company and provides insights to support optimal business decision making.

**Principal functional responsibilities:**

+ Leads, directs, evaluates, and manages a team of financial professionals to ensure operational excellence is continually met

+ Owns the prioritization and execution of FP&A goals and objectives, that align with the organization's overall vision and its current and long-term business objectives

+ Continuously evaluates, challenges and implements processes and methods to enhance results, improve efficiency and financial transparency to contribute to the organization

+ Drives the planning and execution of lean and efficient integrated planning processes; including long range, annual, periodic planning and performance monitoring

+ Leads the development, implementation and continuous improvement of standard tools and analysis to conduct proactive and insightful analysis to measure current and future financial and operational performance compared to prior year, plan and forecast to support strategic business decisions in achieving goals

+ Leads and communicates the development and continuous improvement of routine and ad hoc management analysis; reporting of monthly, quarterly and annual key performance indicators, as well as business drivers

+ Leads the process and continuous development of tools to support the preparation of standard and ad hoc customer, channel and product profitability analysis

+ Supports strategic planning, scenario analysis, as well as other business planning and analysis needs related to development of cases for key business initiatives

+ Ensure team is responsive to both internal and external customers and provides excellent customer service

**Qualification**

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

+ Minimum of 7 years' of experience gained through progressive responsibility

+ Minimum of 3 years' People Management experience with proven success in building and leading high-performance teams, developing talent and achieving results through others

+ Prior experience in manufacturing

**Proficiences**

+ Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships, while working collaboratively with cross-functional business teams

+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to conduct presentations and interact with all levels of the organization

+ Excellent organizational skills and ability to function in a fast paced, highly visible, and changing environment

+ Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills

+ Demonstrated successful ability to organize and prioritize work to ensure achievement of deadlines

+ High level of professional excellence characterized by sound judgment skills, drive for results and sense of urgency

+ Demonstrated ability to inspire change and continuous improvement; track record leading and implementing sustainable process improvements, seeking out and implementing internal or external standard processes

+ Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

**Preferred qualifications & skills:**

+ MBA/Master's degree in Accounting or Finance

+ Experience with JDE, Hyperion Financial Management and data mining

+ CPA

+ Familiarity with the plumbing industry and products
