Manufacturing Technician II
HotFoot Recruiters is excited to partner with an innovative leader in manufacturing to fill the position of Manufacturing Engineering Technician II. In this role, you will be responsible for the repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of automated manufacturing equipment, as well as assisting engineers in developing and improving production processes. This role is perfect for a hands-on technician with experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, ready to apply their technical expertise across multiple shifts.
Position: Manufacturing Engineering Technician II
Location: Mesa, AZ
Type: Full-Time; Multiple Shifts Available (1st and 2nd)
Salary: 26-37/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Use PLC systems to diagnose and troubleshoot electronic devices in manufacturing environments.
- Perform electrical tasks such as circuit testing and repair (up to 480 volts), wiring, and troubleshooting integrated circuits down to the board level.
- Interpret schematics and work with common industrial electrical components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot vacuum and heating systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Apply knowledge of injection molding and assist in maintaining related equipment.
- Work with pneumatics and hydraulics, including valve configuration, troubleshooting, and flow regulation.
- Possess strong mechanical knowledge, including fastener applications, motor replacements, and basic fabrication.
- Utilize mechanical and electrical tools to modify drawings and troubleshoot motor drive systems.
- A technical degree or certification in a related field is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in a high-volume production environment.
- Strong working knowledge of PLC systems, pneumatic adjustments, and engineering testing procedures (such as DOE, PFMEA).
- Ability to read and modify mechanical and electrical schematics.
