Print Production Manager needed for a long term (1+ year) contract assignment located in New York City (10001). This position is through our Project Services Division and is eligible for medical benefits and paid time off.
Primary Responsibilities: You will bridge design and production disciplines, evaluating and gauging appropriate risks and future opportunities. You will partner and collaborate with key stakeholders to be fully versed and fluent in structures, die lines, prepress and print requirements. You have the experience to communicate any risks with design proposals as it relates to design feasibility and/or print capability. You will use your knowledge of latest printing and color management technologies i.e. spectral values to create brand color specifications You are comfortable attending print trials, approving draw-downs, production proofs and color standards You will develop and maintain a library of all production elements for each brand under your supervision.
- Bachelor's degree - preferred
- 5-7 years of experience in prepress, printing and project management is required, preferably in a Consumer Healthcare or Pharma environment.
- Deep subject matter expertise and proven experience on all printing and prepress processes
- Fluency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Financial budgeting skills and competency is required
This position does require international travel.
