Senior Financial Reporting Manager Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Financial Reporting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role will also involve overseeing the preparation of financial statements, managing the annual audit process, and providing strategic financial insights to support the organization's mission.

Senior Financial Reporting Manager Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Manage the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of financial reports to funding agencies, donors, and the board of directors.
• Develop and maintain financial reporting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and long-term planning.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and variances, and providing recommendations for improvement.
• Supervise and mentor junior finance staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.

Senior Financial Reporting Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA Certification is Required
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial reporting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with non-profit accounting principles.
• Oracle/NetSuite Knowledge is a plus!
