Software Consultant

As aSoftware Consultant, you will test and implement our software for our clients. You will work closely with our development team to analyze our code and improve the quality of our products for our customers. More importantly, you will act as a liaison for PCI connecting with our clients, building relationships, and updating our customers on our PCI products.


Duties:



  • Provide technical, architecture and best practices support and consulting to internal and external clients on the proper use of PCI products from inception through deployment.

  • Provide work estimates for projects, ability to deliver quality work within the estimated time.

  • Write high quality project documentation to support the project needs.

  • Understand the client’s business and how PCI applications are used to meet client needs. Configure PCI applications to meet the client needs.

  • Improve the quality and enhance the features of PCI software products by working with application development team.

  • Produce well-written code which is documented and has an appropriate level of unit testing with minimum bugs keeping in mind smooth and timely transition from development to production and ease of future maintenance.


Requirements:



  • Strong technical skills in Core Java and Enterprise Edition.

  • Experience intesting, documentation, and quality assurance for new product features

  • Provide project management for internal product development projects.

  • Prior power industry experience and React, Python experience a plus.
