We are currently hiring for a Talent Acquisition Specialist in the New London CT area. This opportunity is a great position to showcase your recruiting experience. This position supports one of the largest healthcare companies in the state. Description: 1. Responsible for development and maintenance of a pipeline of prequalified candidates. 2. Collaborate and partner with internal Talent Acquisition team; act as a strategic partner to Talent Acquisition Partner 3. Assist Talent Acquisition with developing short-term and long-term staffing goals 4. Work closely with Talent Acquisition colleagues to meet Service Level Agreement guidelines and expectations agreed to with stakeholders 5. Assist in assessing, screening and vetting prospective candidates against outlined position criteria 6. Must have ability to demonstrate a high degree of independence and confidentiality 7. Schedules interviews with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition Partner 8. Develop a tracker (passport) in which a candidate profile is created to assist in career development and retention program 9. Must meet staffing objectives in fast-paced, change-oriented environment 10. Maintain continuous flow of communication with all partners to ensure timeliness of recruitment process 11. Execute on-campus initiatives (career fairs, networking events, student presentations) 12. Screen resumes and interview candidates via telephone. Manage external recruitment process 13. Assure proper and compliant documentation of candidate tracking activity including updating ATS/databases 14. Projects and other duties as assigned EDUCATION Bachelor's degree REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Minimum 1-3 years of talent acquisition experience. Ability to build relationships and partner with internal and external customer's. Experience with telephone interviewing. Proven research skills using ATS.
