The JPMorgan Payments Product Delivery organization is responsible for scaling and integrating payments platforms across Commercial Banking and the Corporate & Investment Bank, by defining the product strategy, segmenting clients and packing solutions against these segments, determining the end-to-end delivery strategy, managing product launches and enabling the sales teams.

The Product Simplification team takes a client-centered approach to reimagining product onboarding and servicing. The team is responsible in identifying inefficiencies and partnering across various transformation partners to deliver new business capabilities.

Overview of Role:

The Product Simplification analyst is responsible for leading product configuration analysis, working closely across front and middle office groups to complete Core Cash product simplification.

Functions and Responsibilities:

Complete Product Review
  • Interview product & front, middle, back-office SMEs to define the product (use cases, restrictions, documents needed), examine and redefine onboarding requirements for given products with the goal of streamlining the onboarding process for clients and internal teams and document the product configuration
  • Partner with pricing & control teams to align pricing triggers & eligibility control rules
  • Lead cross-functional review sessions to agree on the simplified product setup
  • Work with Front & Middle office teams to baseline the current product usage; cycle times; cancel rates
  • Create high-level process flow to identify key personas, hands-off and back-office systems

Support Configuration Build out
  • Partner with various teams to review the product set up rules before loading the configuration (act as Product SME)
  • Test product setup rules; demo to product owners for feedback and updates
  • Lead working sessions with Sales and Product to define products and services sold and align pricing factors

Partner with Client Transformation Teams
  • Partner with client transformation teams to integrate simplification analysis
  • Operate as an internal consultant to help client transformation teams gain deep understanding of stakeholder needs and best practices
  • Influence strategic programs' target state in preparation for their execution

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3+ years of experience in product management or business analysis
  • Strong Organization Skills: Detail oriented and strong time management skills
  • Thought Leadership and Problem Solving : performing current-state analysis to identify inefficiencies and transformation opportunities
  • Stakeholder Management : Developing strong trusted advisor / partner relationships with key client and internal stakeholders; Leading discussions with partners and stakeholders
  • Leadership : Being an active team-player in developing the team (e.g., recruiting), fostering a collaborative and supportive culture
