Your Role as the Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager will manage and facilitate the operations of the retail and commercial side of the business.  Your responsibilities include:

• Ordering stock based on sales analytics and forecasting
• Ensure inventory is in line with projected sales for both residential and commercial lines of business
• Oversee and lead the inside team including sales clerks and stockers
• Manage the team’s scheduling, training, and performance metrics
• Ensure a high level of customer service

Background Profile

• Expertise in supervising / managing a retail or commercial hardware or supply store within a plumbing/ heating/ air conditioning type industry
• Strong interpersonal / customer service skills
• Excellent ability to manage team members
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent computer skills
