Job Description

  • Collaborates with multiple hiring managers to understand hiring needs and position requirements, ensures that proper documentation is complete for open positions, interviews qualified candidates and makes a selection decision.
  • Ensures a requisition has been created and approved, job description is current and posting is completed/posted for each position recruiting for. Documents and tracks the status of positions.
  • Maintains all pertinent applicant and interview data in the HRIS system and applicant dashboard.
  • Collaborates with hiring managers and HRD to develop an effective marketing plan. Ensures marketing plan works towards Affirmative Action goals.
  • Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; works with various media sources to advertise open positions. Assists in creating the marketing materials and ensures the marketing information/means is up-to-date and within budget for the current hiring needs.
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
  • Collaborates with the HR Team to ensure the onboarding process is effective. Reviews onboarding process, makes suggestions or updates as needed and assists with conducting orientations.
  • Provides recruiting metrics on a monthly basis or as requested. Audits and submits annual Applicant Flow Log information for annual reporting.
  • Ensures fair and consistent hiring practices. Participates in the interview process. Informs candidates of details such as position responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedule, working conditions, promotion opportunities, candidate status etc.
  • Maintains a knowledge of HR practices, key trends and legal updates especially how it applies to the recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Maintains current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
  • Conducts and participates in cross-training. Collaborates with other sites to drive communication and sharing of best practices.
  • Participates in regular meetings to stay informed of business needs, keep Team updated on position status and collaborate on ideas for retention, employee participation, etc.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • At least 4 years experience in Human Resources/Recruiting
  • Must have professional and effective English verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual would be a plus.
  • Must possess a professional and positive customer service orientation with ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to use new technology.
  • Must have a positive attitude, be a self-starter and have excellent follow-up and follow-through.
  • Must be detail-oriented, have strong organization and time-management skills and be able to efficiently multi-task in a changing environment.
  • Proficient working knowledge of general office equipment and computer applications including Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Will require working on a computer and phone. Regularly required to use hands to type, finger, handle or grasp. Frequently required to talk, hear and respond.
  • Must have a current and valid driver's license and meet company DMV requirements to travel on company business.
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management , Business Administration, or related field


  • Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, Overtime and Weekends as needed
