AWS Industry Products partners with customers to create scalable products to address industry needs.
This role is in the Healthcare and Life Sciences group on the founding team for a new AWS industry solution that will unlock vast improvements in the way our customers design and operate clinical trials.
You'll be responsible for uncovering latent customer needs, collecting requirements, writing PRFAQs, and partnering with UX and engineering teams to ship products that solve key business and user challenges for healthcare and life sciences customers.

You'll need to dive deep to understand customer needs, constraints, and industry standards while also thinking creatively to apply technology in new ways to streamline process, reduce effort, increase accuracy, and help customers demonstrate that new therapies improve patient outcomes.

That’s why you’ll find endless knowledge-sharing, mentorship and other career-advancing resources here to help you develop into a better-rounded professional.Basic qualifications- 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience- 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience- 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience- Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market- Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)Preferred qualification - Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations- Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies- Experience delivering solutions that manage how clinical trials are designed, conducted, monitored, assessed, and approved.- Understanding of the existing and evolving data standards used in clinical trials, including CDISC standards.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.

The base pay for this position ranges from $137,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $236,800/year in our highest geographic market.
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Amazon is a total compensation company.
Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
