A day in the life of our BI Project Lead: (role and responsibilities)
As a BI Project Lead, you will be part of our Business Intelligence Center of Enablement (BICOE). The BICOE’s mission is to help enable business users with their reporting and analytics needs by providing support, training, best practices and governance. In this position, you will be:
•Self-directed to concurrently manage multiple initiatives
•Working with multiple business users to help develop and implement BI initiatives
•Provide training and development opportunities for SAS and Tableau users through structured training, Genius Bars and User Groups
•Act as a consultant for departmental teams on their strategies related to reporting and analytics
•Creating, maintaining and communicating a repository of best practices related to SAS and Tableau development

What we’re looking for: (requirements)
•Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree. Additional experience (2 years) beyond the minimum (below) may be substituted for education beyond an Associate Degree.
•More than 7 years of recent experience performing advanced business intelligence analysis
•Strong knowledge of SAS including the language, procedures, and options commonly used including the Macro language, Advance SAS, SAS Enterprise Guide
•Experience with SQL procedures is preferred
•Strong knowledge of database/data structures (Experience with Hadoop, DB2 and Oracle is preferred)
•Self-motivated to discover efficiencies and new techniques in SAS and Tableau
•Ability to work in a positive and collaborative manner with strong customer focus
•Highly effective communication and presentation skills
•Knowledge of Tableau is desired
•MS Office Suite
•Knowledge of residential mortgage industry and the role of mortgage insurance
