Job Description

Franchise Brand Manager

Looking for a role where you can align with a solid and dynamic environment? As our SureStay Brand Manager, you will have that opportunity when you join the team of Best Western’s newest venture. In this ground-floor position, you will be an integral player in our mission to expand our brand and ultimately have a direct impact on the success of your region and the SureStay enterprise. 

Your primary responsibility is to manage and promote the SureStay brand objectives by recommending and ensuring the consistent delivery and application of member operations programs, policies and services. Additionally, you will work to improve the SureStay brand value by providing operational, consulting, coaching, quality assessments, marketing and other related property support.  Because this is a new position, you can begin your career in the Midwest, the Southwest or Western USA – whatever territory works best for you.

The SureStay Brand Manager will be the touch point throughout the application, on-boarding implementation and long term service care processes for new properties in your region. Your 5+ years managing multiple properties in the hospitality industry along with some franchise operations experience would be the right fit for this role.​ You will be in daily communication with our development team as they identify new properties and work alongside the property owners and developers to insure a successful transition and on-boarding experience.  Your impeccable attention to detail and eye for design will also be utilized to ensure that the new properties are consistent with the SureStay brand.  We will rely on your project management and implementation skills to establish transition deadlines by researching, identifying, and evaluating new projects to avoid complications and to ensure a successful transition into the brand. As such you will create a timeline for activities, manage the on-boarding process including the official kick off, develop a quality assurance self-management checklist for the properties and guide all constituents through the process.

A love of training is key to success as you will provide training around all facets of hotel operations and quality to owners, management, and staff in the field. Importantly, you will motivate and develop on-site SureStay leadership by assessing strengths and weaknesses and providing appropriate developmental and training opportunities. Your top-notch written and verbal communication skills will be of the utmost importance as you act as the primary liaison among all internal organizations and assigned hotels.  You’ll need to establish smooth lines of communication with the various groups you will support, including hotel owners and staff, as well as departmental management and other areas of the company. 

You should bring to the table at least 5 years of hospitality experience, with 3 of them being in management. And your qualifications for this role are complete with CHA or CHT certifications.
