Your Impact

We are seeking a detailed oriented Staff Accountant to join our fast paced Finance team in Horsham, PA.  In this role, you will partner with team members across our Finance and Operational departments to support the business goals and objectives. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in month end closing.  Prepare and analyze monthly journal entries, account reconciliations and reports as assigned.
  • Update and manage standard costs in ERP system, perform work order closeouts, analyze variances, and assist with physical inventories.
  • Assist with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly standard reporting package
  • Process 3-way P.O. matching invoices.
  • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
  • Prepare and process weekly check runs.
  • Investigate and respond to vendor inquiries, research and correct discrepancies.
  • Reconcile A/P detail to G/L on a monthly basis.
  • Audit T & E expense reports.
  • Assist Account Receivable with collection calls as needed..
  • Assist with quarterly internal SOX requirements.
  • Work closely and effectively with multiple levels of the organization.
  • Handle workload in a timely and accurate manner.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Up to 3 years’ experience with a background/knowledge of Manufacturing Finance being preferred
  • Manage challenging expectations effectively and resolve conflicts efficiently
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to adapt to constantly changing environments & priorities
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal and written as well as excellent phone etiquette
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously to completion with sound business judgment
  • The ability to meet strict deadlines are required attributes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products especially Excel
  • ERP system experience.
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude
