Overview:

This role will be a hands-on development position focusing on systems integration delivery in both on-premise and cloud-based solutions. The successful candidate will bring demonstrative experience in understanding integration patterns across a number of technologies (REST API, SOAP, TIBCO, et cetera) in order to drive innovation and operational effectiveness across the organization.

As a senior level position, additional responsibilities will include the mentoring of other team-members, leading code reviews, working with Enterprise Architecture to assist in establishing API Standards, and ensuring the operational stability of the environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and build out the integration and business process solutions across projects to ensure consistency across systems
  • Strong knowledge of API and where integration is going in order to lead processes to a solution
  • Partner with business lines to understand projects and system needs
  • Work with other development teams to develop standardized APIs
  • Make use of automated units and integration testing to ensure code stability
  • Familiarity with a variety of programming styles (e.g. OO, functional) and in-depth knowledge of software design & integration patterns
  • Strong working knowledge of agile and iterative development environments
  • Mentors other team members to raise their skill levels.
  • Familiarity with a variety of programming styles (e.g. OO, functional) and in-depth knowledge of software design & integration patterns
  • One or more of the following technologies: C#, ASP.NET Core, T-SQL, Visual Studio, GIT, Windows, LINUX, REST, HTTP, XML, XSLT, JSON
  • Front-end technologies: HTML, JavaScript, VUE or Angular for dashboard \ reporting


Education and Experience Required:
  • Minimum of an Associate's degree and 6 years' in application design and programming with at least four of those focusing on systems integration experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 8 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 6 years' systems analysis/application development experience
  • Familiarity with a variety of programming styles (e.g. OO, functional) and in-depth knowledge of software design & integration patterns
  • Proficiency with Technologies: C#, ASP.NET Core, T-SQL, Visual Studio, GIT, Windows, LINUX, REST, HTTP, XML, XSLT, JSON
  • Makes use of automated unit \ integration testing to ensure code stability \ reliability
  • Capable of designing \ managing source control branching \ merging implementation using GIT
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to assist in issue resolution
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with prior experience presenting to the target audience
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong lateral thinking skills
  • Experience coordinating between Applications and business units
  • Experience recommending and implementing system solutions
  • Experience driving project milestones and delivery dates
  • Proven mentoring and leadership capabilities from a project management perspective


Education and Experience Preferred:
  • A minimum of 3 years in working in an agile\iterative development environment
  • Practical experience with Node.js and Express for API design
  • Front-end technologies: HTML, JavaScript, VUE or Angular for dashboard \ reporting
  • Technologies: A minimum of 3 years working with Java EE\Spring Framework
  • A minimum of 2 years working with a specialized integration platform (TIBCO, MuleSoft, Boomi, etc.)
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in cloud-based PaaS development (Azure, AWS), ideally towards integration
