Job Description

•This is a high-visibility position to serve as a primary contact for Meritor Aftermarket accounts. The incumbent interacts with all organizational levels including Marketing, Pricing, Purchasing, Materials Planning, Engineering and Sales on a global basis.

Job Responsibilities:


•Accounts: 1-3 Corporate OES Customers and 300 - 800 dealer customers
•Scope:Sales of multiple brands across a current base of 14 key Aftermarket product lines.
•Budget: $15K to $35K
•Financial: $25-85M Revenue
•Ability to travel: 70% overnight travel

•Duties and Responsibilities:
•Excellent professional presence with the ability to meet, consult, train and present independently to OES head quarter (Fortune 500) customers and dealer groups including publicly traded customers.
•Excellent problem solving and consultative sales skills.
•Creates and implements OE specific sales plans to achieve business unit revenue and profit targets.
•Work with fleet customers and OE fleet teams to build relationships by identifying and solving their problems.
•A desire to pursue continuing education on products, tools and processes.
•High level of technical knowledge of brake, wheel end, drivetrain, steering and suspension product lines.
•Good computer skills and the ability to utilize Salesforce and other technical tools to execute responsibilities.
•Coordinate with Meritor Production Drive Force team to serve the market.
•Conduct sales and technical product training classes at dealers, OES shows, OES PDCs.


•Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or related field or high school diploma with minimum of 6 years or more experience in sales, marketing, customer support, business or engineering. Prefer experience in the markets served by Meritor, Meritor products and field sales experience.
•Demonstrated strong product and technical knowledge.
•The Aftermarket organization has the right to deem a person qualified for a position if that person has had one or more years experience in the position or similar position
