Customer Service Rep job in Pittsburgh at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC

Local non-profit agency is seeking several Customer Service Representatives for an excellent temp to hire opportunity. If you have a strong customer service background in retail, food service, or a call center environment, we want to talk to you!

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for taking inbound calls, assisting customers with questions, helping them with application process, and maintaining and updating customer files. Our Client offers great training, a casual work environment, and excellent benefits upon hire.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Recognizes and respects diversity among coworkers and customers
* Takes applications over the phone and determines customer eligibility
* Completes all administrative functions
* Manages difficult or emotional customer situations
* Responds promptly to customer needs
* Adheres to program guidelines and procedures
* Takes inbound calls from customers, assists customers with questions and resolving problems
* Maintains and updates customer files
* Data entry and maintenance of customer accounts on the computer systems
* Documents contact with all customers
* Processes all program correspondence and mailings as assigned
* Handles work assignments as assigned by supervisor
* Work Experience and Education Requirements

Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a customer service, administrative, retail or restaurant position. College Grads also welcome!
• Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills
• Proficient with Microsoft office software and computer technology
• Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment
