The Manager, Supplier Quality will manage our Supplier Quality organization and its programs. It will ensure our suppliers and vendors comply with relevant cGMP's, regulations, and company procedures/policies. The role will create and manage agile and risk-based processes and inspection programs that can effectively support a diverse global supply-chain. You'll build relationshipswith our vendors and suppliers and collaborate on mitigation to deliver quality improvements that provide value to our consumers.

Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:

  • Oversees the activities, staffing, and development of the Supplier Quality department and its staff.
  • Ensures the compliance of domestic and foreign vendors against applicable laws, regulations.
  • Collaborates with internal partners to qualify and on-board new vendors and/or service providers.
  • Develops and manages a risk-based audit schedule; including, prioritization to support strategic initiatives.
  • Evaluates quality events, assess risk, and collaborates with vendors and suppliers to improve performance.
  • Establishes goals and metrics that align and support divisional and corporate strategies.

    The ideal candidate will have experience leading a supplier quality organization that has had the responsibility for a diverse and global supply-chain. An individual that can model and develops an organization that practices relationship-based and risk-based supplier quality. Must be an agile leader, that is able to lead and manage change support a company that is rapidly innovating.

    You'll be most successful in this role if you have:

  • Developed relation-centric supplier quality approaches and program.
  • The ability to model risk-based decision making and prioritization.
  • Agility in a rapidly innovating environment; including, adapting to and managing change
  • Interpreted, understood and effectively communicated regulations to a diverse audience.
  • An understanding of how to effectively asses compliance to the applicable laboratory, technical and manufacturing best-practices and regulations.

    In order to take on these challenges, you'll need to have:

  • Certification is not required, but a Quality Society (AQS) certification in auditing,GMPcompliance or other quality related discipline is preferred.Requires a total of seven plus years of Quality experience in dietary supplements, pharmaceutical and/or other similarly regulated GMP industries. A minimum of two years of supplier quality experience preferred.
  • A solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) applicable to the dietary supplements industry (or equivalent GMP regulated industry) is required.
  • A 4 year college or university degree in Chemistry, Biology or related science is required.
