The Solution Architect will own the creation and evolution of the Enterprise Architecture function. He/She is expected to be a thought leader who provides direction and leadership for enterprise architecture methodology, practice, standardization, and improvement across the organization in major applications, components and processes including integration with third parties. Along with proving insight in data models, data integration, data warehousing, data quality, data security and information delivery. Must know infrastructure platforms and technologies & open to emerging technologies, strategy settings.
This role will work very closely with Business Analysts and IT resources to project inception and design oversight. The Solution Architect is responsible for, but not limited to, the following items: reviewing business and technical requirements, focusing on solution development throughout the project lifecycle, supporting development and testing activities, supporting best practices and proven patterns, escalating architecture concerns and executing proof of concepts on various technologies.
This architect will create and foster professional, productive relationships with fellow architects, IT managers, business partners, executives and third party vendors. The architect also assists in mentoring IT team members through consulting and education in order to maintain a learning, growing environment for the overall information technology team. Provide thought leadership within mobile technology, and have an understanding of cloud infrastructure solutions for a mobile footprint.

Responsibilities & Competencies
' Planning - Reviews potential impacts of proposed projects on overall technical ecosystem. Identifies opportunities for new approaches and possible synergies. Ensures all necessary technical areas have been identified during the planning phase of a project. Provides oversight during project lifecycle. Serves as an escalation resource for design challenges and issue resolution.
' Architecture and Design - Maintains high-level systems documentation of technical environment, including inter-relationships between logical entities.

Education & Experience
Education Requirements

  • 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in computer science, business or related field


  • 6+ (Highly Specialized Individual Contributor) Technology experience including large-scale implementations, application and service management

  • 2-4 (Mid Level Professional) Enterprise Architecture
