The successful applicant will work 15 to 20 hours per week assisting the with Indiana Geological and Water Survey’s IT support specialist and network administrator to expand the front-line support services for the IGWS staff. This work will include installing software, troubleshooting staff issues, repairing and maintaining PC hardware in a predominantly Windows-based environment. Troubleshooting IT needs and responding to IT Service Requests in a timely and accurate fashion and providing support to the staff of the Indiana Geological and Water Survey.
This position is able to begin working immediately however the starting date is negotiable. There is no anticipated end date at this time.
The successful candidate is to be skilled with Microsoft Windows operating systems and applications, device management, hardware and software configuration and troubleshooting, and periodic maintenance of software applications. Attention to detail, cordial demeanor, and commitment to proper documentation of job functions are required attributes of candidates
Working Conditions / Physical Demands
$13.53/hour or higher depending on qualifications and experience
