We are hiring a growth-oriented, Customer Account Manager for a leading background check company in the Twin Cities! This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity that involves up to 25% travel nationally after the pandemic and you will also have the ability to work from home for the foreseeable future; must live in the Twin Cities (MN) area!
  • Actively monitor assigned accounts to identify trends and potential up-sell opportunities. We are looking for someone who thrives at customer relationship building and developing/growing a book of business!
  • Develops corporate contacts and cultivates relationships at all levels, which may lead to incremental business within the designated account. We want someone who knows how to sell FAR & WIDE
  • Seek out and develop NEW revenue opportunities
  • Introduce new products, processes to assigned accounts which includes conducting client account reviews and presentations to assess client needs
  • Obsess over client satisfaction with the goal of retaining and growing assigned accounts
  • Act as a consultant providing industry best practices and tips for process improvement and overall client success
  • Maintain regular contact with client, take lead on all client-specific projects and keep both client and management up-to-date on pending as well as completed action items 
  • Prepares quarterly and annual business reviews and multiple year account plans for each account based on short, mid and long-range plans.
  • Resolve client requests, questions, and challenges that frequently require analysis of situations and demanding individual resourcefulness to determine the best course of action and use of resources.
  • Attend tradeshows/conferences to meet with existing clients and new prospects
  • Travel required: up to 25% (after the pandemic)
  • Salary: $60-70K; up $75K with industry experience 
  • Must have at least 2 years of B2B sales/account management experience 
  • Must be highly self-motivated to achieve organizational goals.
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required
