The Mastercard communications team is focused on driving programs and activities that build, support, and defend Mastercard's reputation among key internal and external audiences The broader team has been designed to closely mirror the business and support the company's efforts in delivering world-class payments experiences.
We are looking for a driven Communications Manager with passion and creativity to help grow our Mastercard Technology positioning. This individual will support and execute the communications strategy that brings to life the Technology positioning among diverse stakeholders. Supporting programs may include the creation of employer brand assets such as videos and presentations, technology campaigns, and content for all internal and external channels and platforms. They will work closely with the VP of Communications as well as the Operations & Technology leadership team, the global Mastercard communications team, and various stakeholders. This includes HR, leaders from our businesses, Global Tech Hub teams, and our partner agencies.
Specifically, the role will focus on:
* Develop, support, and implement the Mastercard Technology Communications strategy, with supporting KPIs, to grow our employer brand.
* Develop storytelling initiatives to leverage the Business Strategy.
* Coordinate resources across multiple project initiatives and teams.
* Work as a thought partner to the Communications and Technology teams.
* Develop messaging and ensure communications materials, including key messages, Q&As, fact sheets, presentations are kept up to date.
* Research and prepare media briefing documents as needed for executives in the organization.
* Provide logistical and administrative support for Communications events, such as All Hands, Fireside chats, among others.
* Provide content strategy support for Communications plans.
* Assign, review, and work in the approval process of the content development.
* Support writing, editing and content production activities for multi-platform internal and external communications
* Develop content and assets using a clear and concise writing style that is audience appropriate
* Coordinate materials, deliverables and responsibilities between graphic designers/agencies and own team
* Proactively build, manage and strengthen trusted relationships with key tech industry influencers, including journalists, analysts, academics and others, in partnership with our product teams.
* Manage inquiries, scheduling briefings, and coordinating in-person/virtual/hybrid briefings and events.
* Compile, synthesize and report on key industry insights, competitive analysis and recommendations to senior leadership to influence business strategy and messaging development.
* Manage budgeting and measure outcomes through analytical tools.
