Finance Manager
The Finance Manager position is located in the organization’s corporate office and is responsible for the timely and accurate close of multiple locations. Will oversee multiple entities nationwide. This role will ensure that the financial statements are accurate and are in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles at all times. Additionally, this role will be a key business partner to senior leaders, collaborating on best practices and being forward thinking. This role will also manage the annual budget process for non-continuing care retirement communities outside of the obligated group.
The Finance Manager will complete the monthly financial close for all entities within the prescribed timelines.
Review & analyze financial statement results with business leaders. Collaborate on best practices.
Provide projections/analysis when needed.
Strategize with business owners on how to drive & execute the business for maximum performance. Complete ad-hoc analyses to support the business.
Partner with Revenue Cycle Management & Expense Cycle Management to improve business process for billing & collecting and vendor invoice processing for best practices.
Required Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
Preferred Degree: MBA
CPA REQUIRED
Experience:
4 years of accounting experience required
Public accounting experience strongly preferred
or Real Estate industry experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:
Excellent computer skills with Microsoft office products, including intermediate Excel skills.
Strong working knowledge of Lawson or other ERP.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Effective analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Proven problem solving skills and working through complex business challenges.
Ability to work across, and partner with, a diverse stakeholder group in a matrix organization.
Track record of delivering high-impact and measurable results.
