Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle for software development and the application in production.
* Includes the technical analysis of requirements, development of the software, automated testing, builds, deployment, monitoring, and feedback.
* Responsible for designing, testing, coding, and developing software to meet user's needs; recommending software upgrades for current and future systems; ensuring software continues to function normally through software maintenance, upgrade, and testing; and documenting every aspects of the application, service or environment as a reference for future operations and maintenance, including version and platform upgrades.
* Engineers solutions for cloud or on-premises development and production platforms
* Assist in advancing enterprise agility and mission accountability through the constant focus on SAFe Core Values, Mindsets, and Principles.
* Support collaborative system delivery through configuration management, automated building, automated testing, automated deployment, and automated monitoring and notification
* Create and maintain code comments or inline documentation where necessary to improve the readability of the code
* Support government personnel in the creation, modification, and documentation of all enhancements efforts, to include system design documents, standard operating procedures, operations and maintenance manuals/procedures, software development plans, and related documentation
* Deliver solutions using repeatable infrastructure as code (IaC) controlled by configuration management; promoting higher quality systems that can operate in heterogeneous processing environments
* Design, develop, deliver, and sustain new and existing data analytics and forecasting solutions using data structures large and small that scale to use with large data volumes
* Develop, maintain, and improve software systems using cloud-native development approaches, utilizing the backend technologies such as the Java Spring Framework and Spring Boot Extension, and frontend technologies such as Node.js, Vue.js, and React/Redux
* Design, develop, deliver, and maintain software systems that conform to Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, as amended by the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (P.L
105-220)
* Design, develop, deliver, and sustain new and existing real-time search solutions using commercial and/or open-source software technologies, such as ElasticSearch, OpenSearch, and Apache SOLR
* Utilize and have experience with Agile project management software such as Jira and Confluence to enable teams to dynamically plan, track, document, and manage workflows and system reference material
* Perform user interface, user experience, and front-end design while expediting the requirements and customer approval process by building clickable prototypes using tool such as Axure, Sketch, or Invision
* Support various data management (purging, clean-up, updates, etc.) tasks, utilizing Structured Query Language (SQL)
* Use expertise in data modeling and SQL to administer, maintain, and improve database systems and ETL data pipelines to support Big Data analytics systems.
* Utilize common development languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, and .NET
* Support efforts to create data definition, data model, data manipulation, and data control scripts in support of large-scale data exports
* Identify emerging technologies, alternatives, and standards implementations to provide beter support for developers and application stakeholders
* Develop code that does not unnecessarily add new technical debt to a release and correct any defects identified by testers, code reviewers, automated tools, or as part of the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) activities
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Active Top-Secret Clearance
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline.
* 10 years of experience with programming and software development including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting and/or upgrading of software systems.
• 5 years of experience architecting software solutions based on customer requirements
• 5 years of experience leading technical teams
• 3 years of experience designing and implementing automated build and deployment pipelines and supporting platform
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications while maintaining 24/7 availability DESIRE QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in ElasticSearch, Vue.js, Java Spring Framework, and .NET Framework web services.
