Assists and resolves issues regarding the functions of the Administrative Services department which includes the mail room, supplies, preventive maintenance and other responsibilities, as assigned.
This client was founded over one hundred years ago right here in Manhattan. Now, they are a global accessories brand that supplies accessories and leather goods to over 100 vendors.
Receives and signs for all mail, USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc., as well as distributes all deliveries. Enters outgoing packages into the FedEx and UPS systems.
Monitors supplies for shipping, office and kitchen; orders and restocks supplies when needed.
Conducts preventative maintenance checks by performing daily office walk-through and does minor repairs when necessary including replacing light bulbs and informs the Office Manager if a repair company needs to be called.
Provides support and assistance to all associates moving boxes, furniture and displays etc.
Covers the front desk as needed for breaks and lunch periods by answering incoming calls and greeting visitors.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Writes and speaks effectively; asks questions to ensure understanding; exercises a professional approach with others.
Works efficiently with others to get the job done, responds positively to instructions and procedures, able to work well with staff.
