Job Description

Provides administrative support services to assist one or more persons in the CLS BU.  Provides administrative support, reception services and general office duties for a business unit, function or department.  Utilizes advanced personal computer software skills to prepare routine and complex correspondence, reports, charts, tables and forms.  Compiles statistics and maintains records, databases and filing systems.

Specific Accountabilities:

> Member of the StandardAero Huntsville, Alabama leadership team.
> Coordinates administrative and logistical details associated with the day-to-day operations of the business unit or department.
> Provides administrative support as needed including data processing, copying, faxing, ordering office supplies, filing, routing mail, updating manuals, scheduling meetings and responding to general inquiries.
> Provides customer service activities, receives incoming telephone calls and visitors, schedules appointments and meetings.
> Resolves routine and/or special problems requiring knowledge of company policies and procedures and refers other matters to appropriate team members.
> Produces routine and special reports from automated and hard copy records by collecting, organizing, compiling, generating and distributing the data.
> Develops and maintains databases and spreadsheets using mainframe or microcomputer software.
> Operates various types of office equipment (copying, bindery, facsimile, etc.).
> Maintains and updates department files, records and publications.
> Assists team members in their daily work activities as required.
> Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.
> Carries out special projects as assigned.

Position Requirements

Job Requirements

> Strong administrative support skills.
> Strong organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
> Advanced knowledge of PC's in the current company operating system environment.
> Working knowledge of production management computer system.
> Working knowledge of administrative policies and procedures.
> Working knowledge of specialized software/equipment relating to area of work.
> Experience in a clerical or secretarial position.
> Must be authorized to work in the US.
