RN - School-Based Registered Nurse

Exciting Opportunity for 1:1 care assignment in Huntersville, NC. We are in need of a seasoned nurse with strong assessment skills. Duties include providing continuous GT feedings and ADLS's.

School Based Registered Nurse (RN)

• Nursing Duties: G-Tube Feeding, Medication administration, Monitoring for Aspirations, and ADL's
• Shift Hours: 8AM - 3PM
• Schedule Location: Meet at School Monday-Friday on school days
• Hourly Pay: $42

Job Requirements:

RN Experience: One year of direct care RN experience within the last 3 years --or --Recent Grad RN with previous LPN direct care experience of 1 year within the last 3 years

Must have G-Tube experience (mickey button)

Must have CPR Certification (no online courses)

Responsibilities:

Provide individualized nursing care to student, ensuring their health and safety during school hours.

Administer medications and perform tube feeding as required.

Conduct patient assessments and maintain accurate charting on tablet.

Respond to medical emergencies and perform basic life support as needed.

Communicate to parent / guardian with supplies are low

Provide feedback to case manager regarding supplies and care planning.
