Currently, ManTech is seeking an Information Systems Engineer/Automated Information Systems to join our team in Fort Meade, MD.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform as the lead for day-to-day maintenance of all current test suites utilized to support T&E

  • Ensure all changes and updates to test tool suites are performed and document in coordination with customers

  • Assist with designing and fielding spherical purpose systems for critical missions, and recommending hardware procurement

  • Draft and maintain up to date systems-drawings to accurately reflect the configuration of the development networks

  • Identify and oversee installation of all hardware and software required to support integration of Red Hat Open stack Architecture

  • Provide training to customer personnel on network configuration, operational procedures and use of software packages on test portion of the network

  • Draft and maintain up to date system drawings to accurately reflect the configuration of the Red Hat open Stack architecture environment and associated systems.

  • Provide day to day maintenance of all tools suites, including continuous oversight of a comprehensive change management program for each

  • Assess product integration and provide integration recommendations to optimize R&D efforts

  • Support Development Teams by providing a comprehensive range of cyber tool and testing services.

  • Actively participate in the cyber tool/technique development process by research and conducting development work necessary to emulate realistic and exact tool beds. This R&D work may include building out of known network environments and systems utilized to network and/or control associated physical systems.

  • Install, operate, maintain, test, and validate new test scripts as required by the technical director

  • Install, test, operate, maintain, and validate improvements to servers and databases to maintain legacy environmental requirements while updating emerging technology requirements

  • Provide subject matter expertise to develop custom VMs

  • Provide subject matter expertise on testing requirements for PSPs

  • Integrate newly procured software and/or hardware

  • Aid in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation of new software and hardware

  • Develop, configure, manage, and implement improved and existing customer test plans and test processes

  • Tailor testing capability in order to automate test plans and procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 4 years applied work experience in database management, knowledge management or MS Sharepoint

  • Possess a general knowledge and understanding of the following operating systems and/or applications:

  • Linux and windows operations systems

  • EMC SAN SQL Server

  • Terminal Services web Hosting

  • Open Stack architectures

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work within a diverse workforce made up of both civilians and military personnel

  • Bachelors degree in an IT-Related field or 3 years of additional applied work experience

  • Certifications: SQL, SharePoint, HTML, and Python

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years experience as a system administrator including in database management and knowledge management.

  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

  • DOD 8140 and DOD 3305.9 ADET certifications

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • United States Citizen

  • Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) that is current within the last five (5) years and will remain in scope for 3 months after anticipated reward

  • Current DOD TS clearance

  • Eligibility for access to a TS/SCI

  • Successfully pass a polygraph examination

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to remain in a stationary position 50%

  • Capable of operating a computer and other office productivity machinery

  • Frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
