Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

* Works with Branch Directors of offices in their assigned territory
* Plans business strategy
* Understands community and home care staffing needs and establishes goals for recruitment that meet these needs
* Actively seeks new business opportunities by responding to RFPs
* Works directly with Branch Directors in their territory to hire, train and direct staff in all areas to accomplish goals and maintain compliance with regulations and policies and procedures
* Performs operational analysis on all offices on routine and on-going basis
* Performs sales calls to existing and potential clients
* Recommends policies, programs and budgets for Board approval
* Delegates responsibility to administrative and supervisory personnel to insure effective programs
* Actively seeks opportunities for growth of existing offices and investigates areas of possible expansion
* Manages and reports on fiscal matters (budgets, cost determination and control, collections)
* Negotiates contracts and agreements for providing services
* Develops sales programs to promote and develop the various service lines that the agency offers and performs sales with Branch Directors
* Monitors the fiscal aspects of the agency including making credit decisions, participating in collection activities, developing an annual agency budget and planning for capital expenditures
* Performs screening and first and/or second interviews for office personnel and participates in and/or makes arrangements for training of all new personnel
* Assisting Branch Directors with training, supervising and evaluating existing client service personnel
* Developing, implementing and monitoring a recruitment plan for each business unit to insure a steady pipeline of applicants, to include implementing tracking tools and dividing responsibilities to insure that business until goals are met

Qualifications

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

* Be able to train and manage personnel
* Communicate effectively with health system personnel at all levels
* Be able to read and understand a profit/loss statement
* Understand the business dynamics of health care systems
* Effectively manage sales budget
* Effectively manage accounts receivable
* Previous recruiting, staffing, sales and management experience
* Proven track record of success in the healthcare staffing industry

Qualifications:

* A Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) from Four-year College or university.
* Minimum of two years experience in direct sales of services in health care administration, home health care administration or health related programs.
* Minimum of three years of home health management or home care administration experience.
