Twin City Staffing is now hiring for a machine operator / material handler / forklift opportunity on first and second shifts for a busy company in Minneapolis.
Pay : $15 - 18/hr.
Hours:
1st shift: 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.
2nd shift: 9 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Rotating Schedule:
1st week: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
Next week: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
Requirements of the machine operator / material handler / forklift:
- Forklift experience
- Overhead crane experience is a plus
- Strong work ethnics
- Ability to work well with others

Job summary of the machine operator / material handler / forklift:
Load and unload aluminum from furnaces. Prepare and unload baskets of aluminum from the aluminum furnaces. Properly fixture loads, operate and maintain vacuum, aluminum, and tempering furnace controls.
Job duties of the machine operator / material handler / forklift:
- Place parts or direct the placement of parts in racks, trays, or baskets to make a load for the furnace.
- Transfers loads into furnaces using forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Program furnaces for specific requirements
- Monitors furnaces
- Complete paperwork on work orders
- Place parts into original packaging
- Keep a clean and safe work area
