Information Technology Security Leader

**Ideal Background**
**Education:** Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited universityoran equivalent combination of education and experience required.
**Certification:** CompTIA Security+ or similar certification preferred.
**Experience:** This position requires 10 or more years of relevant Information Technology Security professional experience.
This position is generally responsible for establishing and maintaining security standards and practices to protect the organization's network and computer environment. Will provide direction on new security initiatives and be responsible for security compliance based on industry security standards. Work at this level requires progressive experience and knowledge in information technology security practices. This work will be performed under minimal supervision but with general guidelines from the CIO.
**What You'll Be Doing**
Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
+ Consistent review and auditing of the organization's existing security controls.
+ Coordinate organization vulnerability and penetration testing.
+ Development of security policies and procedures used across the organization.
+ Act as point of contact for Client security questionnaires.
+ Recommendation of improvements and additions to security controls.
+ Oversee implementation of new security initiatives.
+ Work with Team on disaster recovery and business continuity programs.
+ Interface and coordinate with IT security vendors as a PM for any security related projects.
+ Establish and direct Teammate training on information technology security practices.
+ Prepare weekly security reports.
+ Prepare annual security budgets.
+ Work with the CIO to plan and organize IT security projects.
