Position Summary
This position is under the direction of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and includes responsibilities related to manufacturing equipment documentation and certification. The qualified candidate will have the ability to work alongside engineers in a technical environment.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (technical preferred) with 1 year technical writing experience OR, an Associate's degree with 3 years technical writing experience
Written and spoken technical fluency in English

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Create and compile documentation for manufacturing equipment operation, qualification, and certification following company-standard formats and industry best-practices
Gather required content for documentation through interviews and interaction with team members, stakeholders, vendors, and domain expertsInclude illustrations and graphics as needed to better emphasize or clarify information
Utilize established site processes for releasing, approving, and controlling documentation
Prepare estimates and timelines for project tasks related to documentation

Professional Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office software suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Ability to breakdown a large task/concept into smaller tasks/ideas
Ability to work cooperatively in a project team environment
Self-starter able to work independently with minimal supervision
Aptitude for or knowledge of scientific concepts, subjects, or instrumentation
