About Summerlin Hospital:
Summerlin Hospital is a 485-bed hospital featuring emergency services; a busy maternity department with an average of 450 deliveries per month; a Children’s Medical Center with a NICU, a pediatric ICU and separate pediatric ER; advanced cardiovascular care, surgical services, women’s health and oncology care. Summerlin Hospital is an accredited Chest Pain with PCI facility and a Primary Stroke Center, and has received multiple awards from the American Heart Association Get With the Guidelines program.

Job Description:

Leads, develops, implements and evaluates system and site based strategies and initiatives that focus on providing an exceptional patient experience for designated facility.  Facilitates consistent messaging, training and measurement to create a patient and family centered culture.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

Education:         
Bachelors Degree in Business or related field.

Experience:       
Five to seven (5-7) years experience in patient/customer relations which includes experiences in successfully developing and creating strategies to improve patient/customer experience.  Two years of experience in a healthcare environment and bilingual prefeferred,

License/Certification:   

Nevada Notary License preferred.

Technical Skills:               

Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.  Publisher software preferred.


Other:
Must have working knowledge of healthcare industry.

Note:
Possess strong customer service skills/interpersonal interactions; ability to handle difficult and angry people constructively; savvy enough to interact with physicians/senior leadership.  Excellent analytical skills, including analysis, planning, organizing, and troubleshooting.  Superior oral, written communication and presentation skills.  Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Summerlin Hospital Medical Center recently completed the largest expansion project in its history. The expansion included the addition of a six-story tower that contains 173 additional private patient rooms, an expanded emergency room and pediatric emergency room. The hospital also features adjoining outpatient services and physician offices.
