• Manage warehouse team members on a daily basis to ensure smooth, efficient, and accurate operations
• Plan, oversee, and assist in executing all orders: picking, packing, delivery, return, QC, and storage of equipment
• Develop and maintain, with the assistance of full-time and part-time staff, a warehouse organizational system that keeps personnel and equipment safe and easily accessible
• Oversee and execute operational plans for all vehicles, including daily logistics planning, labor planning, labor training, and vehicle tracking.
• Operate vehicles up to 26’ (non-CDL) as needed in and around the Tri-State area, including Manhattan.
• Develop and manage a maintenance program for all rental equipment, vehicles, and tools; provide reporting to supervisors on equipment usage, damage, and lifecycle needs
• Oversee, track, and manage all repairs, including managing repair staff, RMAs, and vendor repairs
• Determine staffing levels seasonally based on order volume and operational needs; report staffing levels to supervisors
• Oversee and ensure accurate and timely receiving of new equipment and entry into inventory system
• Maintain security of all RRD equipment while in the warehouse; ensure controlled building access
• Manage relationships with vendors including maintenance, subrentals, and logistics; uphold RRD’s values in all vendor interactions
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure subrental needs are identified and managed in a timely manner.
• Proactively identify and communicate equipment shortages to the production team
• Provide direct supervision of all warehouse employees, including a full-time shop foreman; conduct ongoing training, management, and regular check-ins
• Collaborate with the Equipment Logistics Lead to manage shipping, logistics, and freight operations, including LTL, full truckload, and parcel shipments
• Implement and oversee a warehouse safety program, including site-specific hazard analysis, safety training, and compliance with NJ state law
• Maintain safe, hazard-free work areas; ensure safety devices (fire extinguishers, first aid kits, sprinkler systems, etc.) are maintained and regularly inspected
• Maintain and stock consumables for warehouse and production use
• Track and report warehouse metrics and develop new metrics to support continuous improvement
• Perform basic construction/handyman tasks as needed to maintain the building
