Job Description  

As the Superintendent Fabrication, IND TSS you will be responsible for assisting contractors to obtain reviews and acceptance by Company of all lift planning, load out and welding procedures. You will work with the Quality Lead, HES Lead and Engineering team to coordinate efforts at site allowing timely and effective support of Contractors efforts.

  • Monitors the planning and execution of each work segment carried out by the Contractor.  Reviews sequence of fabrication and assembly and ensures optimum methods are used by the contractor. Assists contractor to obtain reviews and acceptance by Company of all lift planning, load out and welding procedures. Works with Quality Lead, HES Lead and Engineering team to coordinate efforts at site allowing timely and effective support of Contractors efforts.  Provides feed back to the Fabrication Lead as to the performance of the Contractor and the effectiveness of owners’ team at site Familiar with NDE practices and processes providing the ability to recognize good practices and expected results. Assist the Quality Manager with contractor discussions and contract requirements.
  • Lift planning and lift equipment will be reviewed, documentation for all equipment and material on hand and correct and inspections witnessed as required. Coordinate lift plan reviews with Company SME prior to accepting lift plan. Lift execution attended with verification of lifting plan being followed and all equipment and rigging meeting specifications and expectations of company.
  • HES Participate in and support the HSE lead on site in providing Advises company procurement team to ensure timely shipment of equipment and material to meet contractors schedule and optimize sequencing and “work arounds” that develop.
  • Coordinates the Management of Change process at the fabrication yard to ensure that project team is following the processes.
  • Performs administrative duties as required/ assigned.
  • Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications  
  • 20 years Oil and Gas fabrication and construction projects onshore and offshore.
