How you'll make an impact:

Work as an Associate Producer in the Talk & Entertainment department on a team featuring long form talk content.

What you'll do:

* Enter audio programming and episodic metadata.
* Loading programming into various podcast and broadcast systems.
* Mixing of logs, previewing voice tracks, and loading content to the on-demand system.
* Manage and build weekly, monthly and one-off specialty shows.
* Manage on demand content.
* Scheduling daily on air content.
* Edit and compile daily clips of high profile long-form comedy talk shows for circulation.
* Listen to and evaluate new stand-up comedy content for broadcast consideration.
* Assist in the planning and production of specialty programming.

What you'll need:

* Bachelor's degree preferred.
* At least 2 years of experience producing in a broadcast media setting.
* Internship and college broadcasting experience may be considered in lieu of professional experience.
* Experience working in audio presentation (broadcast or satellite radio/podcasting).
* Flexible scheduling.
* Excellent verbal communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and deadlines. ? Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
* Proficiency in sound production and audio editing, including editing programs (Pro Tools/Adobe Audition).
* Preferred knowledge of MusicMaster scheduling software.
* Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
* Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $40,000 to $56,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
