POSITION SUMMARY: 


Cybersecurity Analyst with DoD system accreditation and integration experience. This position requires in-depth knowledge of DoD Cybersecurity regulations and policies, experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF), and experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).



MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:



Design audits of computer systems to ensure they are operating securely and that data is protected from both internal and external attacks in accordance with the applicable Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG). (35%)


Design and recommend security policies and procedures to implement; ensures compliance to policies and procedures. (30%)


Evaluates highly complex security systems according to industry best practices to safeguard internal information systems and databases. (20%)


Defines and reviews security requirements and subsequently reviews complex systems to determine if they have been designed to comply with established standards. (15%)




MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:  


Standard office equipment and computer applications, including Microsoft Office is required. Familiarity with automated software test and build tools is required. Familiarity with Team Foundation Server and/or Visual Studio or other team tracking and collaboration tool is preferred.


WORKING ENVIRONMENT:


Function in a standard office environment in a stationary position (greater than 90%)   Minimal travel required (less than 10%)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or similar
CISSP, CAP, or CISM certification(s)
An active secret security clearance or the ability to get one.
 
Experience:
 
At least 3 years software cybersecurity experience.
 
Skills:
 
This position requires in-depth knowledge of DoD Cybersecurity regulations and policies, experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF), and experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS). ACAS, ATO, eMASS, Remediation/Mitigation Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), RMF, SCAP, STIGS
