Job Overview

As an Architecture Associate at Bedrock, you will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and coordinating a wide variety of architectural content. The candidate should possess high levels of creativity, the ability to multi-task and work collaboratively across all teams at Bedrock. Exceptional graphic and verbal communication skills are highly desired, as the candidate will be consistently producing and presenting architectural solutions to the team.

Position Responsibilities:

* Work collaboratively with Development Team on one or more development projects including ground-up and adaptive reuse residential, office, hospitality, retail, parking, and mixed-use buildings

* Provide architecture and design review, guidance, and oversight to ensure each project supports stated goals and objectives

* Support the creation of cohesive and comprehensive architectural solutions through graphical, written, and verbal means

* Generate project presentations and documents

* Comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents, data, and financial information into graphic narratives appropriate to different audiences

* Anticipate project-specific requirements and respond with appropriate architectural solutions

* Implement workflow, process, and quality control metrics for completing complex projects on time, with consistently exceptional results

* Collaborate closely with other Bedrock teams, including Leasing, Marketing, and Property Management

* Coordinate and present project updates to Architecture leadership for review and direction

* Provide guidance to Architecture and Design Intern team members

* Track architecture and design trends and disseminate information to teams and apply to projects as appropriate

Minimum Qualifications:

* 4-year degree or equivalent education, training, and experience

* Approximately 1-3 years of relevant experience

* Understand and support all phases of the architecture design process with great design, graphics, text, research, drawing, and rendering skills

* Working towards professional certification such as NCARB AXP preferred

* Software Skills should include competency in:

* 3d modeling

* Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD

* Adobe Creative Suite

* Microsoft Office Suite

* Project management tools, such as Trello and Bluebeam
