Insurance Follow-Up Representative

Hours: Monday-Friday Standard Business Hours

Location: Mesa, AZ 85215

Pay: $15-$17.50

Job Description for a Insurance Follow-Up Representative:

  • This position will be in the business office and this person will be calling on some of the following: Medicare, Medicaid (AHCCCS), Workers Comp, or Commercial insurance companies to collect on outstanding claims. They will also be doing research to find out why the claim has been denied or appealed and making the necessary corrections to receive payment or for submittal of the claim. They will be working off of an aging report that is on an Excel spreadsheet. Employees are also expected to speak with patients regarding their bills and why they are billed (extremely soft collections - more of providing information as to why)

Must Have Requirements of a Insurance Follow-Up Representative:

  • At least 6 month soft Insurance Collections (using both websites and making calls to insurances)
  • Strong Revenue Cycle foundation
  • High School Diploma or GED



Hours: Monday-Friday Standard Business Hours

Location: Mesa, AZ 85215

Pay: $15-$18

Type: Permanent with benefits
