  Summary:

The Program Manager will be responsible for managing primary contract at NGA location. The Program Manager will be the primary interface to the customer and will ensure needs are being met while continuing the success of the program.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all operational aspects of Program Activity including; cost management, schedule management, date management, and other related program activities
  • Serve as a principle liaison with current and prospective program customers
  • Plan, schedule, organize, and administer program tasks, budgets, and schedules
  • Track program against schedule, budget, and phase review objectives, reports status to supervisor on a regular basis and executive staff as needed and/or requested
  • Develop and implement recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated eventualities
  • Establish and manage customer relationships
  • Concentrate on efforts associated with the contract and collaborates with the customer to integrate it with the different elements of customers overall requirements
  • Investigate and adjust personnel problems among program team members
  • Provide recommendation in regard to hiring, promotions, wage adjustments, and terminations
  • Prepare and present Employee Performance evaluations and submits to Corporate according to company policy
  • Recommend and/or lead new processes where needed to improve quality or on-time delivery
  • Ensure effective reporting and communication with the client and team as well as all customers and stakeholders
  • Responsible for accuracy and quality of all contract reports and documents and/or deliverables
  • Manage an IDIQ contract in the execution of requirements for NGA
  • Other duties as assigned
 

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 10 years’ experience in managing requirements, contracts, operations, and personnel
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  •  TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance required
 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook
  • Strong working knowledge of NGA concepts and practices with regards to software development, integration, operations and maintenance
  • Strong influence-management, negotiation, leadership, and assertiveness skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to understand, track, drill-down and questions activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data
  • Ability to travel
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and Holidays as required

  • The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
  • During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions.  Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
