Responsibilities

The .Net Developer will be working on various application development projects managed by the Technology Organization and be responsible for analysis, design, development and testing of applications. These applications will be developed in C#.NET/VB.NET with backend SQL databases and interface to various internal or 3rd party data sources, web services and custom applications.

The candidate will be required to:
  • Have strong experience in design and development of business applications in Microsoft.Net platform
  • Design, write and review complex stored procedures, functions and views using SQL Server
  • Work with large databases and use programming techniques to optimize query performance
  • Maintain and enhance existing portfolio valuation systems
  • Work with business analysts to understand business and functional requirements and translate into technical design specifications
  • Follow project management and SDLC disciplines to insure structured and effective implementations
  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation for assigned projects


Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years of software development experience using Visual Studio .NET, ASP.NET, C#.NET, VB.NET, and SQL Server technologies
  • 3 - 5 years of experience with SQL Server development including database design, T-SQL, stored procedures and
  • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Experience in MVC including Entity Framework, Telerik/Kendo controls
  • Experience in HTML5, jQuery, Angular JS, JSON, JavaScript, Bootstrap
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Git, TeamCity and 3rd party .Net controls is a plus
  • Solid understanding of full software development lifecycle
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry, specifically working with financial and banking data and systems
  • Ability to provide estimations, risk assessments, technical documents and meet deliverables in a timely manner
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, related engineering discipline, or other related field
