As a Lead Material Handler, you will work with the warehouse team to ensure our clinicians have all of the needed supplies to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. What you will do in this role:
You will be responsible for assigning and directing the work of the Material Handlers.
Assist purchasing personnel or accounts payable in researching receiving discrepancies.
Help direct the workflow in the receiving area, and shipping area by setting priorities and meeting deadlines for the receiving, and shipping function.
Process receipt of inbound freight as well as outbound shipments from the warehouse to respective hospitals we serve within our surrounding communities
Responsible for the operation of the Shipping Desk, including Wave Building, Maintaining Wave Log, printing and separation of orders by facility, and letters, and shipping all waves.
Work with Warehouse Supervisor to ensure that all Customer Service incoming log requests are processed, and shipped correctly in a timely manner.
What qualifications you will need:
High school diploma or GED (General Equivalency Diploma) preferred.
Three (3) year direct warehouse experience required
One (1) year Parallon experience
Prior computer experience required.
Prior experience operating RF (Radio Frequency) scanners preferred.
Ability to work 2nd Shift 4:30pm – 12:30am
