Part-Time Technical Services Associate (Cleanroom)

Essential Responsibilities

  • Performs incoming inspections on new devices received from Erbe GmbH and specified OEMs.
  • Decontaminates devices and accessories as necessary for all returned equipment.
  • Maintains supplies used in the Decontamination Room. Order as required.
  • Relocates products to proper technical services locations as needed.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned by department manager or supervisor.

Back-up ResponsibilitiesRepairs/checks foot switches and other Erbe accessories/devices as directed.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position is an individual contributor and has no direct supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses office and technical equipment typical of similar positions.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer are routinely required. Also typical of this position is the needed ability to lift up to 30 pounds at times.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel
This position requires no measurable travel.

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Currently enrolled in technical AAS degree or higher level of education in electronics or related field preferred; significant military training or other experience may be substituted for degree requirement at the company's sole discretion.
  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience in a related technology field or medical electronics repair work preferred.

  • Must possess a strong team orientation and the ability to work effectively in a small group.
  • Strong detail orientation and the ability to complete a high volume of work in a timely manner required.
